Elementary education is a crucial stage for shaping children’s curiosity, character, and care for the environment. However, science and environmental learning are often limited to theory. The Urban Plant Kit was developed to make learning more interactive, fun, and impactful.
Why Urban Plant Kit Exists
From theory to real experience 🌱
Learning through planting, not just reading.
Children experience growth directly — planting, caring, and harvesting their own plants.
The Urban Plant Kit was designed to make learning more practical and meaningful. Through this kit, children are given the opportunity to:
Learning That Feels Alive
Bringing “Green Learning” into classrooms
Integrating planting into daily school activities.
Creating eco mini-gardens that strengthen school identity and student involvement.
By blending hands-on experiences with lessons, Urban Plant Kit helps schools nurture students who are both smart and sustainable.
Program Objectives
The Urban Plant Kit aims to cultivate environmental awareness, patience, and responsibility through meaningful nature-based learning experiences.
Foster love and care for nature from an early age.
Teach patience, responsibility, and empathy through the process of planting.
Support children’s mental health through relaxing outdoor activities.
Provide nature-based experiential learning opportunities.
Introduce the role of plants in maintaining ecological balance and reducing the impact of climate change.

Step by Step
The Urban Plant Kit learning journey follows simple, structured, and fun steps — from preparing the kit to watering your first sprout. Each phase helps students explore science and develop care for nature through direct experience.
1. Prepare your LadangGo Plant Kit.
2. Prepare the growing media and take 1–2 fruit or vegetable seeds.
3. Soak the seeds for 2 minutes, then take the ones that sink to the bottom of the container.
4. Plant the seeds in the pot filled with growing media, leaving a small space between them.
5. Mix AB solution (5 ml each using syringe) into 1 liter of water.
6. Pour the AB mix into a bottle (Kopiko 78 or Nipis Madu), then cover it with a drip cap for irrigation — included in your LadangGo Plant Kit.
Growth Story
The growth journey of Lettuce Plants from 5 to 35 Days After Planting (DAP) — a real learning experience with the Urban Plant Kit.
Seeds begin to germinate 🌱
🌿 0.05 kg CO₂ absorbed
First leaves appear — photosynthesis begins ☀️
🌿 0.1 kg CO₂ absorbed
Lettuce grows lush and nearly ready to harvest 💧
🌿 0.3 kg CO₂ absorbed
Fully grown, fresh and ready to enjoy 🥬
🌿 0.5 kg CO₂ absorbed
* DAP = Days After Planting
Starting from 10 DAP, each plant absorbs approximately 0.1–0.5 kg of CO₂ through photosynthesis — a small yet meaningful step toward sustainability and environmental education 🌎.
